very cheap quality: car body repair tools

The glass of the manometer is very thin and delicate. With normal use, it broke very quickly. When painting in tight spaces, spray guns typically hit parts. You have to use thicker glass (Casio G-Shock watches) and design to make them.

Pros
  • easy to use
Cons
  • disappearable

Bought 2 and both are defective for different reasons.

Bought 2 of these for use with some LVLP spray guns. Both air control valves are defective for different reasons. The first flows from the swing fitting. The 2nd pressure cannot be adjusted with the adjustment knob. Both are unsuitable.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Love this valve in body repair tools

I've used them a few times. They were on Sata spray guns and it was at a professional body shop. They are accurate and easy to read. I did all the bindings on the fenders and doors and the air valve never got in my way. I support anyone with a squirt gun who gets one of these.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Not the best

. The plan is to have regulators for all three, which are great weapons. But

I have 3 Devilbiss spray guns and I was planning to install regulators for all 3 which are great guns. Stay away from this regulator though, it had a leak in the top port that I was unable to patch. Take the more expensive Devilbiss sensor.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Excellent built-in pressure regulation!

After buying a cheap valve that leaked and didn't work well I found this Devilbiss at Revain for a reasonable price. As it is quite small and light I added a connector to the end of the spray gun handle to allow this valve to be easily opened and a small built in filter was added just below. I now have instant and easy access to every print setting I need. The pressure reading is accurate and stays on. No fuss, no fuss and it works every time. I couldn't be happier.

  • Industry Best
Cons
  • Problem

6 reasons NOT to buy this valve

1. Super cheap material. Looks like chromed plastic.2. For"paint guns" caliber is terrible. Most spray guns don't require pressure above 40psi, so with this one you lose all sorts of necessary micro-adjustments. You're just guessing if you're on the right psi when you need to be precise.3. The valve is a restrictive screw type rather than the more preferred orifice type. Immediately I had to understand that this is not for me. 4. The fitting at the top has never been tightened so it keeps…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Moves more air than diaphragm regulator

Works well with many of my BINKS HVLP guns (MACH 1, MACH 1 SLA and M1G) when spraying heavier water based materials with large liquid and air nozzles. It's so strange that this "regulator" is recommended for use with HVLP pistols, and not the more expensive diaphragm models. They don't post flow rates on their regulators, and diaphragm regulators don't flow enough cfm to spray with large air caps. They will tell you pistols can last up to 22.5 hours. Cube fpm with 95 or 97 air caps, but they…
