The build quality of this ballhead is comparable to expensive big brands but 6X cheaper than 1/7X. No sharp edges, perfect anodizing and smooth head movement. The adjustment knob is large enough and smooth enough that you can set the tension to your liking, or if you want to hold on to hard rock, just twist the knowledge a little more. (FYI: no voltage adjustment knob - third knob in some pics online - I don't use that feature anyway and you can use the main knob for the same purpose). The Arca Swiss Mount is the screw version I prefer, it's long enough to allow for a secure attachment and has standard fasteners. Please look at the pictures, this is the largest ball head, a bit overkill for a mirrorless camera, but if you use long or large lenses, it's worth buying. It formed the perfect combination with the Innorel RT-80C with a 65mm bowl shaped center section. I have 3-4 expensive mid-range ball heads and one fluid head but I think this one will be my favorite.
