Words cannot describe how excited I am about this purchase. For years I've been trying to get my 13 year old Doxie to use the stairs or ramp so she doesn't jump up and down on the couch. I've tried probably 5 other products over the years. Stairs were always too steep or too narrow and ramps just scared her. It's wider than regular dog stairs (wish they were wider) and not as steep between steps as other stairs. More like a ramp with steps. As others have said, she surprisingly got straight to the point. Still hesitating to go upstairs, she's trying to find an alternative way or to pick me up. If I put a piece of chicken on top, she'll use it fast enough, so I think she needs more time and training. But jumping off the carriage has been my biggest problem (after a back ache) since she stopped jumping many years ago. In addition, it looks beautiful in the living room. So glad to have found this. Would recommend to all taxi owners.
