To be honest I'm really impressed. I didn't think I would find anything of this quality, especially in this price range. I know that keeping gold flatware in perfect condition is really difficult, but I have a strong feeling that it will hold up well over time. One piece of advice I can give is to use Finish brand dishwasher detergent packs (solid, not gels) as they use enzymes and oxygen bleach to clean rather than using citric acid or salt which completely destroys any coating on cutlery. I've never seen a single brand that says it's dishwasher safe, but I'm taking a chance with these because I'm lazy and they just seem to be better quality than the ones four times the price at West Elm or CB2 cost. They're heavy and feel good and the knives cut a bit but they look so expensive and I'm so impressed.
