There are tons of vinyl/leather sticks out there and everyone claims they dissolve. These are reusable and really work the best. Silver does not accidentally rub off when processing the material, but leaves no permanent stains. To remove heavier stains on soft vinyl apply a drop of mineral oil to the area, even your sewing machine material will work just fine and won't damage the texture. Also make sure your work area is evenly lit. I've found that sometimes a light source makes it difficult to see the specular reflection of silver at a certain angle. Otherwise great product, thanks!
