Given the price and rating of this belt, I thought we were lucky. Our original dryer tape broke after a few years of use. I bought this because of the 4.5 star rating and the significantly lower price compared to GE. I bought this belt in August 2020. That's all, it's only been 8 months and it's already torn. I disassembled the dryer and it's about to break in about 7 places due to wear and tear. As tedious as it is to change these things, do yourself a favor and just spend the extra money and buy a belt from the dryer manufacturer. . If you've exceeded the lifespan of a standard belt, chances are you've spent more money and time on some of those cheap belts.
