The ratchet is broken, the nut is not!
Required for Chrysler 2.4 Jeep Patriot countersunk head bolts which were incredibly tight. I used a 1/2 inch long handle snap-on ratchet with this nut and my ratchet gave way but the nut didn't. After a loud click from the ratchet, I finished removing the bolt and missed a large spot in the ratchet. This is the first time in my life that I've broken a snap-on ratchet, so I think that says something about the strength of this nut.
