Works better than expected. High resolution in pictures and videos. The only problem is that it only records one night at night as the battery level used to take photos and videos is barely below a fresh battery. There is an external 6 volt connector that I will be using. However, I couldn't find a link to the connection. I've tried what I have but nothing works. I ordered an in-between size from Revain and will see if it fits. Do I regret my purchase? Of course, this isn't the best performer. Update: The plug I received is the closest I could find. Works but too loose. I added some tape to keep it in place. I tried it first with a variable power supply and the display shows a full battery at 6.0 volts. At 5.9 volts, it shows almost half. This is unrealistic as no dry cell will stay above 6 volts for any length of time as the camera draws 200mA. Using an external 6V LiFe battery, he recorded every event throughout the night. Since I only record in my backyard it works for me, but not for desert nighttime recordings as having an external battery is impractical. . Overall I'm still happy with my purchase. If the seller reads this review, they may be able to provide a part number for the correct connector.
