Doesn't work with my Wii
Bought this converter to connect my Wii via HDMI, not composite or component. I have a wall mounted TV and didn't want to run component cables through the wall when I have a lot of HDMI. Connected my Wii to this converter using component cables. I had to buy a 3.5mm RCA jack to connect the audio. Stupid connection. I have no idea why this product has a 3.5mm audio jack and not red and white. STUPID. Well, it doesn't really matter, because my TV doesn't recognize the connection anyway. Writes "mode not supported". This device may work to install a cable box, but will NOT work to connect my Wii. To return. Sad. :(
