Filters work as expected. I don't feel anything "flavorless" in my water, so I can't comment on the taste. I am filtering water for the second time after filtering through my Brita into an alkaline water filter. I will say that the value of the dollar is low. I have found cheaper Kirkland filters at Costco that work just as well! I paid just over $23 for 10 filters. In my opinion it makes more sense. I would agree with Brita's price if they had a recycling program for these filters that would justify the higher cost.
