Review on Capresso 560 01 Infinity Conical Grinder by Calvin Reynolds

Updated -- I'm ordering a replacement for a coffee grinder I bought two years ago for which the rating was below. It broke right out of the box and didn't even grind the beans. The weird thing is that the internal grinder looked different, although if you look at the Capresso website, the production there hasn't changed. I'm afraid Revain might have a two tier batch here without a capresso. I would not recommend purchasing this item here at this time. In the last 10 years I have bought two Capresso grinders of the same model. The first lasted about 6 years before giving up and the last only gave up after two years. Not sure if they changed the product but for the price I expected the device to last a lot longer. This is a great grinder but durability is an issue for me given the price. The only thing I did differently on this last unit was I actually cleaned the grinder according to their instructions - I didn't even open the first one and I assumed it was due to oil and dust buildup. So maybe deleting it was a bad idea? (simply with a paper towel - no chemicals)
