I will never use anything else!

Truth in advertising: I'm a coffee lover! I roast my own coffee and am always experimenting with new ways to brew the perfect cup! However, I believe that along with choosing good beans, a consistent grind is the second most important component to a perfect cup - and nowhere does grind more consistently than with this grinder. The low speed of this coffee grinder is awesome! The low speed prevents the beans from heating up during grinding, which prevents natural oils from escaping during…

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not fashionable

Updated -- I'm ordering a replacement for a coffee grinder I bought two years ago for which the rating was below. It broke right out of the box and didn't even grind the beans. The weird thing is that the internal grinder looked different, although if you look at the Capresso website, the production there hasn't changed. I'm afraid Revain might have a two tier batch here without a capresso. I would not recommend purchasing this item here at this time. In the last 10 years I have bought two…

A real and meaningful review is here.

I've spent time reviewing hundreds of products that I've purchased because I have authentic user reviews on that product. After two and a half years of use this will go down in history as one of the biggest waste of money and disappointing product I have ever bought. It finally became completely useless yesterday when the cheap and poorly constructed plastic canister that held the beans finally crumbled in my hands. When I first started using this I figured it wouldn't last long so I followed…

There is some coffee waste after each grind - maybe around 1-2%.

It's been a week. Yes, some coffee is wasted after each grind - maybe around 1-2% of the total. That's to be expected, so I'm not sure what people are complaining about. I haven't noticed any static electricity or similar issues. I grind my coffee on a kitchen towel, so cleaning it is like shaking the towel over the sink. It takes about a minute to clean the unit after each grind to save some of the coffee still inside, as well as give it a little brushing with the brush provided. This coffee…

Fine dust in the grounds is clogging the filter

I bought this particular coffee grinder off Amazon probably five years ago and recently the plastic part that attaches to the top when you rotate the basket to the desired grind setting broke gone out. The plastic has been very strong throughout its life (I've dropped it more than once) but this particular part must have been stressed. This is a design flaw in my opinion, but I was still willing to buy the coffee grinder again even though everything else works fine. I got a new grinder and it…

Works great but not easy to clean

I've had this grinder for about 11 years now. It changed the taste of coffee a lot, along with the Jura coffee maker I bought around the same time. It's incredibly reliable and does what it says on the tin - grind beans. I think having 11 years speaks volumes about its durability and how it's doing its job which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. The coffee is ground continuously without additional heat and it just works. Why didn't I give it the coveted 5th star? It's not easy to clean. If you…
