I got this to cut out paper circles with text in the middle. I knew I probably wouldn't get the text perfectly centered, and I was fine with that. But the whole experience was a struggle. I've gotten spirals more than once because you have to hold the paper, hold the cutter, and rotate the cutter all at the same time. If any one of these three elements is not done correctly and slips, it creates a spiral, not a circle. I also had an issue with the blade not staying down and sliding off when I was using it and you can't stop in the middle to fix it because you can never straighten it again. I've had several people trying to use a cutter to have the same issues. Three sheets of paper later I have a circle to use. The only time I've seen this come in handy is when you're trying to cut circles out of plain paper and you have someone to hold the paper while you cut. I wish I hadn't spent money on it because I ended up just ordering Circut.
