My husband is disabled and has difficulty getting in and out of the car. Opening the door and maneuvering, even with a stick, is a little dangerous and sometimes he slips. I have asthma and sometimes get tired walking indoors after climbing stairs. That makes it a lot easier. We have them on all doors now. They have been ordered by other family members and are a pleasure to keep. If you have someone using a stick or having difficulty climbing that step inside, this will be very helpful and will definitely save you from falling. There is no end to where they can be useful. Wherever you need to pull or balance, it's great. A friend even has one on the wall at the head of his bed that he uses to get out of bed. The ones they used were attached to the bed, which wasn't always ideal for making it up. That works great. It is practical that you can fold them sideways. You install in less than a few minutes. Drill the screws and you're good to go! Highly recommended.
