Can't say it has much of a scent, but that's not a negative for me since I'd choose clear and unscented if it were available. Otherwise, this detergent is just as good as the more expensive types, and has just the right amount of suds and cleaning power to do a good job on dishes, pots and pans. The national brands are a bit thicker but cost significantly more for that slight bit of soapiness. Greenfist is also gentle enough that I can even use it as a hand soap. I fill all my kitchen and bathroom containers, and the gallon last a long time. Will definitely be buying more of this product.
