Key Points: Install two separate strainer discs on the hot and cold connections to the mixing valves. Hand-tighten all water fittings, then turn at least 1/2 turn with a wrench or channel locks. Open water valves slowly and check for leaks. Tighten all fittings until there are no more leaks, then tighten an additional 1/2 turn. Do not overtighten as this may cause leaks! The water followed me as my hand was smack in the middle of the sink. The flow rate is a bit high for me, but later I can switch the aerator to a model with a lower flow rate. Good value for money. The next question will be how long will this last before I run into any repairs or problems.
