ASUS TUF motherboard failed after 8 months

Replace motherboard, disconnect everything and remove everything from case, especially after you have perfectly routed and bundled all the cables. So, eight months after buying the ASUS TUF motherboard, everything worked, the operating system and applications were installed, the Plex server was launched, Nicehash mining started. , and suddenly found that the computer keeps turning off and won't start, I started with a simple one. I tested it with a known good power cord and it doesn't start. Then I replaced the battery on the motherboard. Nothing. So I bought a new power supply and replaced the old one. Nothing. So now I have to replace the motherboard and do all the hard work to get my machine and apps working again. The first TUF I bought was DOA trying to run it on a simple breadboard so I traded it in for this NIB New In Box and a great breadboard. I will not replace it with another TUF. But I will use ASUS. I have a Maximus ROG that works great and previous ASUS motherboards have worked flawlessly for years. I bought an ASUS Prime Z590M-PLUS LGA 1200 to replace this board. I hope this one is more reliable than ASUS TUF.

Pros
  • Advanced power solution: 6+1+1 power stages, military grade TUF components and Digi+ VRM for maximum reliability
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen
