Duffy, our 50lb lab mix, as we found out, is a picky eater. We tried her on Blue Buffalo with catastrophic results (read: diarrhea) and then Purina One Smartblends Sensitive Systems, because we figured she had a sensitive tummy. She wouldn't eat it. All the while, she was having loose stool.The vet put her on Royal Canin hypoallergenic so we could suss out exactly what it was that was making her tummy upset. We found out that she loved eating the Royal Canin and became "normal" again. But, at $75 for a 20lb bag, it was going to send my husband and I to the poorhouse. I researched and found the Royal Canin Labrador Retriever mix and decided to try it. This stuff is amazing. She LOVES it and actually eats her whole dinner and she's still "normal" in the poo department.I'm so thrilled about this product. I think too that it's made her more spunky and, although she's only been on it for a few weeks, her black coat seems glossier.A happy dog makes a happy owner!Ebay seems to have the best price on this product as well. In the pets stores I've seen it go for $6-9 more. Plus, free delivery means no toting 30lb bags in and out of the car!
