Delco Advantage AC parts are the cheapest AC parts they sell. They are not OEM parts. I want to talk about this because most people don't understand what they are buying. It's the same as going to your local parts store and buying the cheapest part they sell. AC Delco has several other lines. From Advantage go to Professional which should be better. AC Delco then sells an OEM line of products that is supposed to be the real deal. So if you're a consumer who buys this part thinking you're getting OEM quality, you're not. The ball joint is fine because it's cheap. But please note that what is pictured is not what you will get. I had no nicks at the attachment point. In addition, the plate on which the oiler is mounted is different. The one they envision is a true OEM that has a wear indicator in that key slot at the bottom of the joint. The one you will receive only has a round mirror hole. The bottom line is, if you're okay with a cheap part that doesn't live up to the advert, this part may be just what you need. However if you want to buy cheap parts you can just buy them locally as the cheapest ball joints like this one are sold for the same price in local auto parts stores. And while you're there, you can borrow a ball joint tool if you need it.
