You get what you pay for. These are valuable ball joints. They are not the same as in the photos. And there are no wear indicators or knurling like in the photo. Surprised to see a Delco AC box. lol.

Not very happy with it. It has a separate cover that is not held by the latch as shown in the picture. It also doesn't have a wear indicator on the grease fitting like my stock ball joints. I'll look for one that has it before installing this one.

Exactly what I needed except I was so excited to fit the new ball joint into the arm that I forgot to mention it didn't come with it at all. I had to use an old grease fitting, castle nut and bent cotter pin :( The picture shows all the hardware that was supposed to be in the kit. Shame on me :(

Looks good quality and is true to size. Should last a very long time. If you have the right tools, it's quick and easy to install. The c press, also sold at Revain, is a quality tool that makes this job easier. The lower castellated nut of the rivet ball joint needs to rotate at 79 ft-lbs on a Chevy S10 truck.

Dust caps are very thin on the mounting ring. My mechanic is over 40 years old. 2 of them pulled out and installed on a ball joint. Never had a problem before. I have (not) contacted AC Delco customer service and they do not stock replacement boots, you will need to purchase the entire unit. I took one to Autozone to pick up a new boot and the parts clerk thought the rubber was dry rotted as it can be easily ripped with two fingers. I bought 2 more from Rock Auto to get the boots and they were…

Delco Advantage AC parts are the cheapest AC parts they sell. They are not OEM parts. I want to talk about this because most people don't understand what they are buying. It's the same as going to your local parts store and buying the cheapest part they sell. AC Delco has several other lines. From Advantage go to Professional which should be better.
