I have always (60+ years) used a soldering gun or a Weller station. Iron. And when it got warmer, it was never hot enough. Well, this TS 100 iron heats up quickly and is very hot. I've used it on small components and large heat absorbing parts and this little iron is great. I am impressed. I'm glad I found it.
