Review on ๐ŸŽฃ Enhanced Classic Accessories Togiak Inflatable Fishing Float Tube With Convenient Backpack Straps by Troy Early

Revainrating 5 out of 5

As functional as the Cumberland, especially as a snorkel float

The other reviews here are great so I'll compare Cumberland and Togiak for you. I bought that and Cumberland. Both have "backpack" straps for short trips (unpadded). Both are spacious! It is slightly smaller and folds into a smaller bag (not included), lighter and has more smaller pockets. Both don't have rod holders, but Cumberland has two cup holders and this one doesn't have one. The Cumberland has a large storage pocket on the back of the seat, but this one doesn't. The valves are different - they deflate more slowly but are reliably protected from jerks, while the Cumberland has better valves but the brackets can break over time. Inflating with the Classic Accessories hand pump is the same. I'm 285 6' and although I can't lie comfortably on my back in the sun in either of them, my bum is sticking out over the water in both. However, Cumberland is much larger. Don't rely on back support either, but the Cumberland will likely benefit greatly if you're lighter than me. However, we don't use them for fishing, we use them for snorkeling at Lauderdale by the Sea Reef Park. We rarely climb to the top because they both pull easily through calm water (unless it's calm or strong winds, we don't go). Neither have a diver flag slot (required here) but the Togiak allows me to use the medium sized paperclips on the side of the seat. Cumberland alone would also have to fly the flag. There are no tow rings, so you'll have to use D-rings on the bottom (no problem). Using a long bungee, rope, or backpack strap, you can make side handles to each hang a game bag, spear, and lobster trap. It will also carry hookah tanks very safely and possibly a pump if its heat isn't melting anything. However, you will need to bring extra bungees as bindings. Don't wait until you're at the beach! We never surf, so we can drop our gear into the front mesh nose on our way in or out of the water. It's easier to load to the chest. My wife and I wear regular reel-type dive harnesses to tow cameras - we don't step down (we might miss a turtle or tarpon). Our son rides. We tie them up to keep them together while they rest. A lightweight kayak anchor keeps them in place, and there's plenty of room up front for small ice boxes (although they do get wet). I thought we could relax in it on the beach, but the backrests aren't comfortable enough. and the sun will dangerously expand the air in the pipes.
