Review on Westcott 8&#34 by Wendy Rodriguez

I love them. Bought 2 pairs and no complaints, they are strong steel scissors as before that can be disassembled and sharpened. Good weight in hand but too heavy. The copper plating (I'm guessing the plating based on the price) has a clear finish so it won't fade or patinate. No more throwing away scissors. This will probably be the last pair of scissors I will ever buy. Very happy with my purchase. A few reviewers said something about something on the pen. There are a few small blemishes where the clear coat has shifted a little, presumably due to the movement of the scissors, but that doesn't detract from the great looks or quality of the scissors and I'm quite a picky perfectionist. I would buy them again if I had to buy scissors again. Reminds me of my grandmother's scissors. NOT safe for children's crafts as they are quite sharp.
