Review on Crosley CR704B PA Musician Turntable Bluetooth by Micheal Wright

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's nice to hear old vinyl albums again!

Great looking cupboard - goes perfectly with our decor! Sound quality is average - about the same as the Alexa Echo. I wish it had an equalizer or at least a bass/treble control. Volume isn't great, but good for a room (like the Echo). CD and Cassette players only slightly used - the controls on both are "clunky" and the components feel cheap. (But I didn't buy this player to listen to CDs or tapes.) Radio reception is fine, and the old analog knob is cool! Bluetooth connection is very easy and convenient! Non-life size turntable (cymbals are smaller than a standard 10" album; 45" LPs are great. All my albums are 35-45 years old and have been in storage for over 25 years so have some warping/damage issues Some albums sound better than others The needle is very light (I have to put a coin on top of it so I don't miss it, but that's ok - part of the nostalgia! The lever to raise/lower the needle has to be bigger and I me wish the player had an auto return after the last track (instead the turntable just stops - that protects the needle just fine but not as cool as it would be with auto return. For the price this is a great little system! Enjoying it Like old albums that haven't been played for 25-30 years I could be listening to the same music (with better sound quality) but it's not the same as watching vinyl at all.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Difficult to say
