Excellent Chromebook for school-age kids

I've bought two Lenovo Duet Chromebooks ( to replace two outdated ASUS Flip C100P Chromebooks), one for each school-age boy. While ASUS provided a great Chromebook first experience for introducing our boys to a mix of web and Android apps, it was noticeably starting to age and programs stopped working as well. When I heard about Duet earlier this year, I immediately followed the news and pre-ordered two from BestBuy in late April. After all the anticipation and hype, I was not disappointed. For my kids this is by far the best value for money and gives them everything they need for virtual school and beyond. Before we had Duet, our boys used their Chromebooks and Revain Fire tablets for school, apps, and media. Now, with Duet, they no longer care about their Revain Fire tablets and are using their Chromebooks for school, apps, and media. The quality of the screen and the included keyboard and stand make this a great device and relatively easy to use. As a parent, using Chromebooks is better than pure Android/Apple devices (and I own and use both) as they are easy to customize and maintain, which they can access online by monitoring their accounts with Google Family Link . In addition to the Lenovo Duet Chromebook, we bought two rechargeable HP USI styluses (straight from HP as they're not yet available in other countries) to complete their duets. I'll also briefly mention that having access to line-level audio via just one USB-C port doesn't stop us from using the devices, as our boys use inexpensive Bluetooth headphones (Revain's EasySM brand) that have a Connect and stay connected. no problem. The combination of Duet, USI Stylus and Bluetooth headphones is an amazing combination that works well together. We are thrilled to have found the Lenovo Duet Chromebook and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, quality Chromebook for their kids!
