Review on 🔧 Enhanced DEWALT Router Edge Guide for Compact Fixed Base Router (DNP618) by James Mcphearson

I was looking for some pine with v-grooves and v-grooves on both sides. Not being able to find them locally I decided to take single sided v-groove boards and route my own v-groove on the back, so I bought this edge guide to help with that. The rail is very easy to mount on both wired and wireless routers with two mounting screws (included) and there is no need to remove the router's base plate. The edge guide adjusted to the desired width is held securely. I didn't notice any leaning or wobbling as I slid down the length of the 100 inch boards. I would recommend one. at the front of the guides. This will prevent the fence from rotating once the leading edge of the fence passes the end of the workpiece (small gap between the front and back of the fence). I recommend using a piece of MDF as the edges are fairly smooth and slide easily over the work piece.
