My parrots always eat them and love them. From time to time there are "lightning bolts" of little moths all over my house and that is not good. I think the moth eggs are too small to see in the seed during production? But I've never had a "moth problem" in my house. Only when I buy them (I open their packages and seal the packages when not in use, but once the seed balls are in the parrot food cages the food is exposed to the air and then maybe moth eggs hatch? I don't know) . Also, my parrots always love seed balls. I would buy from stores and Revain again and again for years.
