A great slab of wood!

First of all, this is a fine rocker board -- it's very sturdy, with a number of layers pressed together that makes it solid as a rock. The clear vinyl on the bottom ensures that you won't scratch a wood or tile floor. It works well on both carpet and hard surfaces, and allows you a full 360-degree movement, not just side to side, and it feels very solid all the way. Socks will be too slippery on the surface, so either go barefoot or wear textured shoes or slippers. Another use is a lap desk -- this is great for grabbing and putting on your lap to write a note, pay bills, etc. Like I said, it's a great slab of wood any way you look at it!

I love my rocker board. Something calming about it when I use it at my standing desk. Pretty cool.
