I bought these wheels to remove rust from aluminum parts on my 42 year old bike. Although the diameter is smaller than I imagined, they work very well, removing corrosion and coating residue quickly and easily. As they are a consumable item (meaning they wear out over time) be careful when they fail near the end of their lifespan. The drive spindle of a grinder can (and did) make contact with the workpiece and leave nicks. Since it was my own fault for not paying attention, I cannot deduct points from these pads. A very useful product.
