After purchasing a router, I found that I was having issues with it after a short while. Smart gadgets lost connection and could not rejoin. When you first connect a computer (laptop) to a wireless network using Wifi, there is no network connection; additionally, in an interesting way, some ports are blocked (in particular, 80 and 443, I did not check everything, but several from different ranges, all the rest worked), but after a couple of minutes have passed, the connection is established. It helped for a time when I reset it to the factory settings. The issue was not resolved by updating the firmware. By assigning permanent IP addresses in the DHCP settings, the issue that was occurring with smart devices was resolved. There has been no resolution to the issue where connecting a laptop results in blocked ports. Mobile phones are fine. I do not advocate making a purchase because I believe that the product that was discounted ought to work without flaws or should have updated firmware that eliminates faults. It is not possible to have either of these things.
