The concept of this satellite TV system is amazing. Bought from Classifieds

I'm the First Responder. Got this to replace my old satellite phone which is about 12 years old. The concept of this satellite TV system is amazing. Bought through ads. I can honestly say I feel the device is so incapable of almost everything it advertises that a buyer could actually sue for false advertising. I'm trying to return it now after trying to connect my smartphone to it for 2 weeks. I have ZERO successful connections in two weeks. It will NOT be reliable at ALL in an emergency. I can honestly say I don't know how it's going to work because I can't connect to it! I read many reviews as I was always put off with waiting for customer service. The ads give the impression that you are using your phone to make calls, send text messages, etc. However, this is by no means the case. I had no intention of writing this review just hoping to get my money back. But so far I haven't had any luck. I've never sued anyone, but I'm really considering how to sue the company I bought this through (Network Innovations). If they won't let me return I will start a campaign to give them bad reviews wherever I can and sue them. I paid over $1,000 for this junk. Avoid this product. My 12 year old satellite phone actually still works and I'll just leave this old thing alone rather than keep trying to make it work.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged
