Huge upgrade from my previous grinders. smooth action! A set of wood! 5 stars but be careful: CONS: * Look the same except for a barely visible (especially in low light) letter (S or P). So you have to get a little creative. I liked the challenge, up to you.* The internal volume is extremely small, what you see in the picture is probably 60% solid wood. To cite an example, my regular 4-inch pepper bottle from the local grocery store is almost twice the size of this coffee grinder, although it looks tiny next to it. See fig. Hope this helps.
