High quality blades. I bought a new DeWalt saber saw to replace an old Craftsman saw. I thought all blades were universal, but many of the blades I've had don't work with the tool-less blade reset. The saw will not grab the blades and they will just pop out. That's probably not a problem for most, because I bet most of them have long used up their old blades. I thought something was wrong with the saw until I found a pair that worked. I noticed that the hole is not the same for everyone; Some are smaller while others are slightly different. I figured new blades would be a good idea anyway and settled on Irwin based on my previous experience with their tools like vise clamps and tap and die sets. These blades feel well made and sit in the saw, all at a good price.
