This is a cheaper unit and smaller than the much more expensive one which I replaced after about 18 months. Everything is fine in this price range, but the wet sensor is sold with a discount of about 20%. The device shows 39% when the actual storage space is around 60%. The lowest auto setting is 40%, but it will still turn off even though the humidity is nowhere near 40%. I suspect it will never turn on if any of the higher options are set. I contacted the company and they said they just let it run all the time. Thankfully it's quiet, but why bother with an adjustable selector screen when the company admits it doesn't really work.
