This footrest has been on my bike a little less than two months and is worn out. I used it almost every day for cycling to and from campus. A major design flaw is that a piece of plastic serves as the main contact between the kickstand and the bike mount. This area is spring loaded each time the footrest is folded or unfolded which initially bothered me but based on two good reviews here I figured this wouldn't be a problem. About two weeks ago I noticed a small crack in the plastic part, which has been growing ever since. Today it has finally jumped so far that the stand can no longer be used. The quality of this stand should be much better, especially considering the price.
