Review on GOLDENROD (625) Pistol Pump Oiler πŸ”« - Convenient 10 oz. Capacity with Straight Spout by Chris Crawford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A quality must-have tool for anyone with an unlubricated drill press or other cutting tool.

This is a quality and must-have tool for those who have a drill press or other cutting tool without a lubrication system. The wide base of this oiler makes it more stable on a chipped work surface. My method of working on a drill for many years was to spot lubricate the hole I was making with tap magic or with a spray can of penetrating lubricant. This works, but has some disadvantages. First, tapping magic on a drill press is expensive. It works great but is very expensive and not very efficient when drilling holes. The same goes for oil aerosol cans. And they tend to make a big mess if you lose your spray straw, which is inevitable. Pump oilers save money by using less expensive gallons of cutting oil and getting it to the right place safely. In the end you use less oil. This oiler and a gallon of Cut-It cutting oil will set you back about $30, or about 32 ounces. knock magic.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Without machine
