Perhaps the best thing about these shoes is that they don't have a tongue. Instead, the entire surface is made up of a single mesh, which is fairly flexible but retains some tension so it hugs your foot snugly. It's made from recycled material, which is more eco-friendly, but honestly doesn't matter in terms of utility (like organic). All in all, this is a very functional pair of shoes at a really premium price and packaging. The scarlet/purple color is unique though and I like its bright but not flashy look.
