The positive first: The ratchet is very comfortable to hold and feels high-quality. It's a bit small, but it's good for many use cases. Socket quality looks good, although long-term use will tell. There are some issues that make me regret buying this set: People are looking for combo sets. However, it does not include the 5.5mm socket required for the very common M3 nut size (it does include a 6mm head for the very uncommon M3.5 size). Therefore, it appears that no DeWalt engineer considered utility when designing this kit. As others have pointed out, the box is ridiculously large compared to what's inside. It looks like they want to match another box system they already use for other tools, but if they do why not add long and short rosettes. And also 5.5mm. That way they could make better use of the carton size. Now it takes up a lot of shelf space, but not that much inside. The clasps that close the box are very strong and have a very nice click when closed. However, just when opening, the front clips, which you would pull with your thumb, suddenly open, causing the rear thumb joint to suddenly hit and scratch the box. Now I just leave the front latches open as there are side latches that will do. But I wonder why they went to the trouble of making such a beautiful box, making it stackable, etc., but then nobody at DeWalt bothered to use the final product within 5 minutes and make the necessary changes to make it really beautiful. . I will not buy again.
