I bought a "genuine OEM" clutch cover from my dealer a few years ago. I slammed it shut and off we went. He was gone in less than 24 hours. Just fell out. I decided I would "never do that again" and went my own way, even though I didn't like the sight of a "gaping hole" in the back of my truck. But when I spotted it for $6 and saw the reviews I was like, no, it's only $6." He came, I hit him at his house. And six weeks later. He's still there, like a bug snuggled up in the carpet.
