I should have bought one of these a long time ago. That's the great thing

I should have bought one of these a long time ago. Let's start with why he's great. 100% water shut off when the diverter is turned on. Over the years I've installed various brands and styles of diverters and each has a wedge shaped stopper that works against the water pressure so they always leak. This is designed in such a way that the cork is pressed down by water pressure, which ensures 100% tightness. With this 100% sealant, my family has noticed a dramatic increase in water pressure from the shower head. My wife loves more water pressure and we all agree I should have gotten one of these years ago. Now for the reasons for the loss in the star. 1) It is designed so that the thread connection on the pipe coming out of the wall is between 5/8" and 1 5/8". Most tub spouts I've used along the way are designed to have the threads farther from the wall, up to about 4 inches. People have to call a plumber to adjust the length of the pipe. 2) Due to the different length of the pipe at the top, the spout does not reach to the bottom when screwed in, so it can be easily unscrewed so that it is not pointing down as intended by adding a simple set screw to the bottom spout. Again, these two items are not essential to me and the next time I need a bath spout I plan to buy the same design again.
