Beautiful Design, Just be Careful of Spikes and holder

I will say I love the lights very much! They are beautiful along our path to the house at night (I will edit this and attach a picture when I can). The only issues I had were the boot spikes that you attach at the ends of the rods, and the screw connection to the rods. The boot spikes are nice and long and have a nice point at the end (Very much like that), problem is the spike tip; its very very flimsy (even to the touch) and while stepping on it to get it in the soft flower bed edge, it didn't go in well, when I pulled it out, the tip was bent pointing up (not down). I tried again, went in the second time, but I have a feeling the tip is bent underground. The second issue was when I screwed together the rods and put them into the boot spikes (for which they fit very very well and snap in there to have a greater hold, I very much liked that). The seam where the rods were connected were a little wobbly, I tried tightening it more but it was at max, and it slightly wobbly with the light hanging. Nothing noticeable unless you really look and see its hanging with a very minor droop (Very minor). The first 2 I bought as a test, the second 2 were to complete the really beautifully esthetic look. The problem I will face is when I take them out for winter storage (Northern VT winters - Next Exit is Canada from the Highway) and put them back in during the spring, I just hope that they can go back into place well again. If I could I'd give 4.5 stars because they are really great overall, just not as great as they should be.

Cons
  • The solar lights are not as bright as expected
