The builders who installed the doors in our home either didn't have a spirit level or didn't know how to use it. As a result, most doors will swing open if left to their own devices. The problem is compounded by the fact that the uncarpeted doors have a 2 inch gap above the floor meaning standard rubber wedge doorstops will not work. (I know I've tried them). Enter this little cat. It was smaller than I would have liked. But in general it can be good. Of course you don't want to trip over the door frame when entering the room. I was worried that it would be so light but it was perfect for holding up a hollow door even in a bathroom where there is no rug. Overall I think this is a good investment at a reasonable price. Definitely recommended if your situation is similar to mine.
