I was a little skeptical because it was quite cheap and I thought it was a bit imprecise in terms of accuracy but it was accurate. pretty durable. I was able to install about 50 cabinet/drawer handles in just over two hours. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to attach more than a few pens in the kitchen or bathroom. To clarify the stability of the plastic, it was really just that if you push fairly hard from the side, it can generate enough flex to skew everything a bit. It wasn't enough that I couldn't get it to work, but the first time I tested a few boards I was able to figure out the best way to hold it to avoid problems. got it and drilled (well spaced and well spaced) holes in pieces of scrap cuz I wanted to see how it worked. Surprisingly, its holes were precise enough that the two holes lined up where the handle screwed in easily. And he was able to repeat this procedure at least 5 times! If a 5-year-old can figure it out after seeing his dad use it for a while, and use it properly and effectively, it's easy enough that just about anyone can do it!
