If you align the line on the jig with the scribe line, the hole will NOT be centered on the scribe line. That said, it's still a decent attachment, but DO NOT cut your pieces to final length before gluing, as you'll need to rework the panel afterwards. You can get close to accuracy by simply placing the line on the template about 1/32nd from one side of your mark (about the width of your pencil mark). Just make sure you use the same "shift" for all your layout lines. All in all, you're simply saving your money for a better fixture elsewhere. Because if it doesn't do what you want, it's pointless.
