I've been experimenting with manual settings on this thing, thinking "auto-learn" was a gimmick. I could never get the manual settings right, so I finally broke down and started auto-learning. Now everything is perfect. Unless you're familiar with PID and don't know how to tune these things, let it auto-learn if you're having out-of-range or out-of-convergence issues. Note where to find the manual and you will need to enter the passwords to set it up that are listed in the manual. Googling the model number will bring up the manual.
