Used fits perfectly and works well. for 8 months then DEAD
Works great and fits my 03 engine wrx perfectly . If the engine spins quickly, the planetary gear does not wear out and is supplied with a test report. Update from 07/02/18: Starter failed on 06/14/18, bought on 10/17. I had to start the car in a working parking lot because it was working perfectly that morning, and then suddenly stopped. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this starter! I actually replaced it with a Duralast starter from AutoZone, much better quality and warranty.
