I have this light in one of my coops next to the bird boxes. It's attached to a thermal cube that turns on when the temperature drops below 35 degrees to prevent the eggs from freezing. It has been working without problems for most of the last month. I will definitely buy more as others die. Usually lamps of this type die only from injuries, for example when a lynx, trying to get in, crashed into a sliding door, causing the door to literally break the rollers and crashed into the lamp. This will kill almost any lightbulb! (I doubled the rolls when I fixed it). Bobcat didn't hear anything because my dog heard the noise and reacted.
