My turtles love it.

I have 2 Herman Turtles and they immediately went to gnaw on this block. I read many reviews that their turtles didn't like it but mine happily ate it. It may have helped that they've always used hug bones since hatching.

The turtle didn't like it or didn't use it k

My 9 year old red footed turtle didn't use it. She usually likes to sniff and bite things, but not this block. The block was dirty and she didn't even notice it. I bought her a dog bone and she loves to chew on it.

She loved the advice of another review

I could never get my turtle to get calcium no matter how hard I tried. A previous review said they had the same problem, but they were trying to cut smaller pieces off a large block. I did it and now she can't get enough of it. Maybe this works for others. My turtle loves it now.

Would be a good product if my cake liked it

The reason for 3 stars for the value is that my Russian tortoise didn't like it, he examined it and bit it a few times but I did left it in my aviary to see if he will nibble on it but it still hasn't touched it. He's a picky eater so not sure if it tastes like it or what it is but it doesn't smell.

Turtle Not Interested

I got this because my turtle is not at all interested in other squid calcium bones and thought it might be interesting with the addition of cacti. I never saw her try. He has been in her cage for about 2 weeks now and she will just crawl over him. I can't tell if it's good or bad because she doesn't even try. If she tried, she might like it, but it's not attractive enough to try. Your turtle might love this.

The wild box turtle eats it!

I wasn't sure my wild tortoise would like this. We rescued her when we found her with a cracked tank and set up a paddock for her in the backyard. Initially things were going well with the patch and we thought it was healing, but when she came out of hibernation this spring the crack widened. It's time for something with a calcium supplement. She's not particularly picky about her food, but she's fierce and doesn't have much variety in her enclosure. I added the block just after patching theโ€ฆ
