Inexpensive, works great, easy to set up. I've checked the check valve a few times to pump water out of the tank and it's holding up well. The bubble counter is easy to read. (Hint: if you want to find out how many bubbles you get per second, install any metronome app for your phone that lets you set the tempo. Tap each bubble once. Divide the resulting tempo by 60 and these are your bubbles per second.) I keep my diffuser at around 1.75 bubbles per second and it works fine. Please Note: If you initially feel that your bubbles are too big, don't worry. These diffusers need some time to soak in before they start producing a fine mist. Mine looked like a regular airstone the first day, but after being in the aquarium overnight it turned into a nice mist.
