You can't beat this beautiful system for neatly hiding the screws that attach the new PVC paneling to our windows in our house and garage. This is a wonderful way. 11/16" x 2 3/4" plated screws. Each box comes with an installation tool which is a #1 square hex bit (with 1/4 inch thick felt pad to avoid scratching the surface) which drives/countersinks the screw to the correct depth . If you're careful, the installation tool usually goes through the end of the box. The screws are sharp and strong, no additional drilling is required. Then insert the PVC plug flush. No messy sealant to use/clean/drop/or show where the screw holes are. ".(Use three screws if boards are wider than 8"). The screws are removable. The screws fit board thicknesses from 5/8" to 1 1/4".
